Beauty in the Journey

We are so often caught up in our destination that we forget to appreciate the beauty of the journey. Appreciation is a wonderful feeling, don't overlook it. Take time to stop and smell the flowers.

BTW: Pictures are of our place. Love it when our acre starts to flower and the colors burst foward. Thankful for The Papa that keeps the beauty alive.

I would really love to live in or around the costal area. The main reason we don't is two fold. One, there would be NO yard just flowering plant after flowering planr. Second, I or we would have a real hard time paying for all those plants.

Love the pictures:

To All,
Roses are beautiful, and they and orchids are my favorites. BTW: Mervi, we have plenty of lawn too. And true the cost of planting all the roses, etc. is something I don't like to think on.

So beautiful! Our roses are blooming right now, too. It's amazing how beautiful they are after being pruned for the winter. Sometimes our Heavenly Papa has to do some pruning before we're ready to blossom. (Just a thought, as Mervi would say!)

Thanks all. We love our place; however it is getting harder to care for. An acre of bloom is not easy to attend to for two seniors (and The Papa refuses to let anyone touch other than himself).

So beautiful. Makes we want to stop by for a visit. :) I have one rose bush on my patio, and I love it. Always reminds me of how God gingerly unfolds the petals in our lives. I'm also a big fan of geraniums; they come in so many vibrant colors. Thanks for sharing these lovely pictures!

Debbie,
You drop by at anytime. We are hung up on roses, and have climbers, weepers, trees, and bushes. I particularly love the weeping tree roses. The colors vary from red ones, white ones, light pink/rose ones, red ones, orange ones, purple ones, and multi-colored ones.
