Season of the Shaking

When looking around to the affairs of our world, our nation, and our state, we are reminded of the scripture, "Everything that can be shaken, will be shaken". Words expressed to alert us that when things begin quaking to hold on with all our might. 

Upon looking around it is apparent that I am being shaken, you are being shaken; in fact, everybody is being shaken. Although we have no control of life's circumstances, we have no need to panic or fear. The Shaking of the Olive Tree is the Lord's way of awakening a determination to dig in and plant our roots deep in His truth and His keeping.

There are two types of shaking now taking place: (1) the shaking of God's people readying themselves for the harvest; and (2) the shaking of those without the Lord to awaken them before the time of the harvest.

Yes, there is a whole lot of shaking going on but we are overcomers through our love and commitment to the One allowing the shaking. We can be partakers of the harvest.
