Though the storms may rage around us, we must take time to be still and remind ourselves that God is still God. Thankfully, He is never overwhelmed by our storms.
I have ofetn thought of pictures with the ocean having no white caps and it looks so smooth and inviting, yet underneath are currents so strong and cold that it can take a life. That is life in a way, when it appears calm, everything seems to come at you all at once. I am learning to appriciate pictures where the wind and waves are clear, it shows the true fury of the storm, unlike the undercurrents in an calm appearing sea.
