Good question! I suppose it's so we don't have to accept responsility for our own behaivor.
I think it's just human nature. We've been trying to pass the buck since Adam blamed Eve and Eve blamed the serpent.
April & Carol,Unfortunately we humans at times try to pass the blame, stating we knew someone else that did it first. "Human nature" is the culprit.
