Hold On

Ever have a day when you feel like you’re barely hanging on? Well, why not take a deep breath, say a simple heart-felt prayer and hold on to what really matters. Before you know it, your footing will be firm once again.

Trust me - I just had a dangling spell and thought I would surely fall, but He came on the scene just in time. He always does.

Hold On - To His Word

Hold On - To His Truth

Hold On - To His Promises

Hold On - To Him

Sis Hopper:
To hold on is a must for humanity.
When I think of holding on I see the great sea walker Peter. Then for the Lord to take hold of Peter’s hand.
Allow your mind to wonder just a moment. The last time you looked the waves were almost over your head, the wind whipped your face with wave water, and the water was swallowing you until you felt that hand in yours. Now you are back in the boat, no waves, no wind, and no water about your face. Just a gentle voice saying, “Peter, Peter you can let go now.
This how I perceive the term to hold on.

Monica,I guess there are days when we literally Hang with Jesus. Take care.

Rochelle, So blessed to have you drop by. Please visit again sometime - you are always welcome.

Mervi, Great comment. Isn't it wonderful the ways God holds us close to Him. When it seems like we are "goners" - all of a sudden, He is on the scene - protecting us.

Yes, the power of holding on. God knows that sometimes that all you can do.
Your photos are fantastic!!! Where did you get them?

Catherine,
Half my pictures are from Google searches, the other half are ones I have taken or a friend sends me. In fact, got some posts I can't do yet, as I can't find the proper pictures. Will keep on searching. By the way, I love your photos. Do you take your own pictures? Your flowers and ocean scenes are breathtaking.

Hello Karen,
The ocean scenes were taken by my daughter while at the beach with my grandsons. The flowers, I took.
One of these days I need to write about the men coming out of the water. Like you, I have many "on hold" projects: some, pictures without text - some, stories without pictures. Plus, my time is so chopped up right now.
God bless, Catherine
