Helen, Your reply took me by surprise but then I started thinking about it, and it makes sense sometimes to question. However, the type of questioning I was talking about was the "cry" or "whining" kind. I really liked your thought though. Giving me an idea for a post.
I understand where Helen is coming from. That's a healthy question. I also agree with you on the way you were looking at it - not a good idea to question that way!
Karen, I fully understand both sides of the argument. I dislike over-simplification that tries to make life seem simpler than it is. Life isn't simple, but God sure is God. By simple, I mean easy to understand. I think we also have to be careful in making distinctions between Christians and non-Christians that just aren't there. Bad things and good things happen to everyone, Christians just don't go it alone. Thank God for that.
Catherine, Yes it is a "healthy" question. I truly respect Helen's comments. It sometimes makes us think outside our box.
Helen, True life isn't simple, that's for sure. My post comes after having heard someone question everything that happens to them. There is a point where you need to let go and trust. We too need to be careful, I totally agree. We also need to make distinctions between so-called Christians unfortunately. There are places we walk that we need to question what is saidand done in the name of the Lord. We must take the words at face value. Thank God these are few.

Amen!
An awesome thought! Amen!!
Why not? Just because God understands doesn't mean I don't have a question. I think this advice could stop us from seeking wisdom. Helen
Megan & Kevin,
Amen back to you.
