Hmm...What to Eat?

Thanksgiving is fastly approaching....so trying to get my menu together but these guys aren't making it easy. We usually have both but this year, there seems to be a protest. Guess it's a "society thing" - seems someone is always protesting something.

In the spirit of non-discrimination, our family always has both!

I would go for the turkey and save the ham for Easter. For every holiday, we have some kind of meat and always lasagna. We grew up having lasagna as part of every holiday, and this Italian tradition has continued in our family.

To show that neither I nor my family discriminates.
We shall have both and maybe some beef to boot.

Definitely, turkey! Think of the great sandwiches you can have the next day. Yummy - I can hardly wait.

Kathy, Carol, Mervi & Monica,
We will have both in the Hopper house, and maybe add prime rib.

Carol,
I love the idea of lasagna. I also love good homemade tamales too. I remember when the sisters in the church sold them for Thanksgiving and Christmas as fund raisers. One year I decided to help them, what a mess I made - couldn't control the masa. But boy, did we have fun.

Bro Smith,
You made my day - still chuckling. However I have heard people actually eat possum but think I'll pass.
