Peas porridge hot, peas porridge cold
Peas porridge in the pot, nine days old
Some like it hot, some like it cold
Some like it in the pot, nine days old.

Which describes your walk with God?

I am one who tries to keep Walk with God Hot, Because I do like a HOT walk with my Lord.

ps;
Yet at times I may find it, "In the pot nine days old."
I never would have thought to use that old nursery rhyme in this context. Thanks for making me think, again! I definitely want my walk with God hot. Nine days old is not a pretty sight.
Mervi,
I am sure that everyone wants their walk with God to remain "hot" but sometimes our "vessel" tends to cool down our relationship with God.
Kathy,
Don't even ask me how I came up with this one. Just got to thinking about the old rhyme I used to recite to the kids, and this is what happened. It is strange however how nursery rhymes and walking with the Lord cross over at times. Or at least they do in my mind. lol
I love it hot, but somedays it seems without meaning to I let life distract me and the temp goes alittle cold. Certianly don't want it nine days old but.... it has happend.....
April,
Surprisingly our walk with God sometimes takes turns, particularly when life is shifting us around.
