Pressure Cooking?

"The only pressure I'm under is the pressure I've put on myself." It's a shame that we pressure cook ourselves for we stand the chance of "blowing our lids".

Turn Down the Heat!
Turn ALL your cares, hurts, and pain
over to the Lord.
It's a lot healthier,
and we chance not overcooking our life.

I can relate so well to this post! The pressure we put on ourselves is usually unrealistic. And yeah, I've blown my lid a time or two...

Now if the pressure is from God, that's the right kind. It will reveal what's deep inside.

But we do put pressure on ourselves and then need to clean-up :)

Don't let my kids see this!!! haha
It is so true, I find myself stressed out about things I really don't have any contol of anyway.
As I get older..... :0) wink...... I am learning to let go of many things and not sweat the small stuff.....
See Sis. Hopper,
I was listening to you in all those chapel services... :0)

Kathy,
I have pressurized myself so many times that it left me sick. It's just not worth it.

Catherine,
Yes, the Lord does put pressure on at time but He is much more gentle and caring - we try to steam ourselves to death.

April,
You always were one of my best pupils. You know why? Because you had a genuine love for God. See ya this weekend.

Oh I needed to read this one! I am getting ready to head down to Houston for the South Texas Ladies Conference My friend and mentor Jennifer Cobb is preaching so I am going to make the 4 hour drive down there to see her. But getting myself packed and everything organized for Keilani is a little stressful! But I will not pressure cook myself lest I blow my lid! :)

Rochelle,
Be safe and may you thoroughly be blessed by the Ladies Conference.
