Karen, It is beyond me how one can behold such beauty of the Creator and yet not fall in Love with Him. Like you, I just keep falling in Love with Him over and over again.
Helen, Jolene, Monica & Carol, I love the colors and the crispness in the air this time of year. Seems a time when God paints his vivid colors. BTW Monica: I think California is void of such Fall coloring except in the grape vineyards and pumpkin patches.
When I get my computer back I'll be posting pictures of our blackened hill - not for the destruction but because I know God will give beauty for ashes. We have a few trees that are changing colors - if the Santa Ana winds don't knock them leaves off first, it will look like fall here in about December!
Kathy, We are having Santa Ana winds here too. They come in at night. I know that they are not as bad as you guys get but they are notable and leave our yard filled with leaves and limbs. Strange too how warm the weather gets when they blow. We are on high fire alert as I am sure you are too.

I love fall too, and of course the One who creates the beauty of fall. These pictures are spectacular.
