Faithful is Aunt Maggie

What a Whirlwind Week...
Still looking for the time to load pictures but before I leave for the campground this morning, there is one picture I would like to post. It is of my husband with his 92-yr old Aunt Maggie. Talk about a woman who has been faithful to God and His work, that's Aunt Maggie. We've been going to camp meetings since the 1970s and Aunt Maggie has always been there, worshipping and loving God. I consider her a "jewel divinely rare".

Isn't it rewarding to see older Christians - people who have been faithful through so much? It gives me such hope of what I can become.

I think I know Aunt Maggie. What a treasure!
So glad you've had such a good time. Tell Bro. Hopper and Kellee I said hi!

Awwww, Aunt Karen, that was sweet. Aunt Maggie probably won't have a clue how to turn the computer on to see this, but maybe one of the cousins can show her!! She is a faithful lady and we all love her dearly! See you again in an hour or two! Susan

What a precious picture! I love elder saints of God. They give me the "want to" to travel on!

Helen,
People like Aunt Maggie give us something to strive for. She has weathered many a harsh storm and remained faithful. She's a wonderful example to follow.

Kathy,
I am sure you know her. Passed your greetings along to Bro. Hop and Kel.

Susan,
It would be nice if one of her kin would let her see this post. Missed you this evening but saw you from a distance.

Linda,
I agree. Aged saints do give us the "want to". The age lines and the silver hair depict many a battle - and thank God, they are still winning the war.

Ronda,
Yes, camp meeting was awesome. I relished being able to attend and enjoy the messages - and to see so many dear friends. It was so good to see you, dear friend, if only for a short while.
