We can make the Rain in our personal lives a time of cleansing and refreshing. Have you ever noticed that after a rain, everything is bright and clear. That is, if that is what we elect to see.
I have found that when storm clouds lift and our tears are gone, the Creator will start showing us the goodness that has come from our season of rain. Will everything look beautiful and feel perfect? No! At first we will see only a glimmer of light shining through the dark clouds, and as our faith builds and starts to soar, our rainbow will appear - then His beauty will be revealed. Believe me, it will happen if we will but trust in Him.

Sis Hopper, Thank you so much, you don't know this but this blog was written for me.I am in the middle of one of those very horrible storms. But I choose to believe what your saying is true. Thank you so much you'll never know. I Love you, Linda Wiley
In my old mind there is a proration of a song that goes something like, “The fragrance after the rain.” One of the most wonderful aromas is that new clean smell after a good rain. For one to be still in both spirit and body long enough for a rain of God to fall, wash, water and cleanses. Is ONE of the most wonderful times to be spent with our Lord.
When the storms of life over take us, many times we have little or no warning of their coming.
Just that ear splitting clap of thunder is all that announces the storm. But that first ray of light that bring the promise of our God, His rainbow and His promis.

Rain is also the answer to prayer after a time of drought. Every season in life CAN be a time of growth, if we let it.
What a lovely post. I am so glad I followed Helen's link.
Happy Autumnal Equinox!
Linda,
May your storm soon pass. Will be praying.
Mervi,
If we didn't have rain, we would never get to know Him in the fullness of His glory.
Kathy,
How true, rain does bring the needed ingredient to watch our our lives grow into something beautiful for Him.
Clane',
Thank you for stopping by. Do come back again.
