Casting Stones?

He that is without sin let him cast the first stone.

Lord, please never let me be judgmental of another, for my duty as one of Yours is only to love and care about others. It is You only that must judge their lives and motives.

Great post, Mom! Last night, I was talking to a friend about the long arm of God's grace. Grace is not discriminating in who it reaches or touches...the "sinner" (the lost sheep) or the fallen "saved" (the lost coin)...it sees us ALL as lost humanity in need of a Savior. I don't ever want to exhibit a spirit that would hinder the work of grace in my, or anyone else's, life.

Love ya!

A by-question posed in Bro. Davis' message this morning @ TX Campmeeting: Why were the stones in the synagouge anyway?

Think about it...could be a powerful sermon all by itself!

Kathy & Helen,
Thank you.

Kellee,
You are amazing! I am so blessed by your love and compassion for the Lord and His work - and your caring spirit for those who are suffering. Love Mom

Tracie,
What a thought! It would be a great sermon, and I would love to hear it preached someday - or perhaps your husband could offer a post on the subject.

I was just talking with my niece Abi about that last night. How we were never made to be judges in HIs kingdom. We are to be the light that leads people to Christ. When I think of the grace and mercy the Lord has shown to me, how can I not show "JESUS" to someone else?????

April,
If it wasn't for God's Mercy & Grace, I would never be considered worthy to be one of His - and if wasn't for His daily forgiveness, I would never be considered one of His.
