Kathy & Jana, It is hard to get back to "normal" eating after sweets have reigned "king" for days. Curses, and more curses!!! or should I be saying "lbs" and more "lbs".
Sis. Hopper, Do you remember the "fat songs" my Mom use to write? You may have been in on it, too. She'd take a chorus and change the words. Like, "Slimming down, down, down, slimming down, down, down."
I need to find that notebook!!! That would make for a blog of its own!

I've been hitting the road pretty hard the last few days trying to run off my holiday pounds before they decide to stay for good!
ROFL - great post!!! Holidays seem to trap us in the food chain. Now back to normal days without all the homemade desserts.

Kathy,
Yes I remember them. In fact Dixie (Strader) and I liked to contribute to the "fat song" cause. We had so much fun.
